This is a fabulous wall plaque or shallow dish by the celebrated and much sought-after potter Morgen Hall.
It is made with great attention to detail (for instance there is a tiny little band of raised dots around the applied foot on the back) and is meticulously created from her favourite red clay and decorated with blue tin glazes.
There is a little wire on the back to easily allow you to hang this plate on the wall for display.
Works by Hall are now hard to find on the open market - so this beautifully crafted piece is on offer at a fair price.
It is in excellent vintage condition with no damages - it is fully marked with her impressed seal to the back, as photographed.
Dimensions: 9 inches (22.5 cm) in width. The central circular area has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches (13.5 cm). Unpacked it is nearly 1 kg in weight.
