This paperweight was made in 1986 and has a tiny E cane in the centre.
It was made by Caithness Glass and entitled Lodestar.
The E Cane indicates that this was a weight which was made by Caithness for Edinburgh Crystal.
This attractive weight is a more minimalistic design - with a simple star on a clear bright blue ground. The edges of the star are made from different pastel coloured millefiori canes.
A more difficult to source weight.
Diameter of base: 2 3/4 inches and with a height of 2 1/4 inches
In just lovely condition with no issues or damages. There are a few little random air bubbles in the weight - from the making.
This weight was very reflective and it was hard for me to take photographs without some distracting reflections - these are not on the weight.
