This is a lovely and rather stylish brass table lamp.
It is made of brass and has a circular stepped base with a dome in the centre. From this issues the upstand. This has a decorative oval bobble detail on the stem - and nice detailing where the bulb holder sits. I have taken lots of images for your inspection.
The lamp is an uplighter and good for lighting up darker corners with an upwards wash. The shade is more of a deep saucer shape made of white opaque glass and with a clear glass rim - it is rippled all around - and looks like a delicate white flower head.
The brass is a nice yellow gold colour - so a nice and bright polished brass.
Both the brass lamp section and the glass shade are in excellent condition with no damages. There is a earthed bulb holder at the top which has an on-off toggle switch. The lamp has also been fully re-wired so all ready for you to just plug in and use. It takes a standard UK bayonet bulb fitting.
It is a good classic design - dating to the 1920s / 1930s. It has a good bit of weight to it - and it is well made and substanial.
Dimensions: Overall Height including the glass shade is 16 inches. The diameter of the base is 6 1/2 inches. The diameter of the shade is 7 inches. The height of the lamp minus the shade is 13 1/2 inches.
