These little pots by Marianne Westman are from the Picknick Range and designed in 1856. They are now very much sought after pieces of mid-century Swedish ceramics. She is one of my favourite designers!
This is a lovely lidded pot with a more unusual blue organic decoration. It dates to the 1950s. The pot has a blue cone shaped lid - with a geometric knop on the top. It has a chunky handle which flares out to the end.
It measures 5 1/4 inches in height to top of the knop. The main body is 3 1/4 inches. The pot has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches. The handle measures 3 1/4 inches in length. Unpacked it is 530 grams.
My pot is a rarer design and this is reflected in my asking price. It is in good vintage condition and looks just fabulous on display.
