This is an elegant tall Scandinavian glass vase which was designed by Nils Landberg (1907 - 1991) for Orrefors.
It sit on a faceted plinth and has fluted sides all around flaring out gradually towards the rim. There are six facets in total - and how they reflect and pick up the lights make it seem there are even more of them. The facet at the front is embellished with a delicated acid-etched image of a nude lady - she holds a diaphanous cloak or long scarf to shield her body.
It has thick walls and a nice height of 7 3/4 inches. The rim is just over 4 inches in diameter.
