This is a stylish little 1970s Scottish glass paperweight - made by Strathearn Glass.
It has a little date cane set into the base for the year 1974.
There is also the remnants of its original paper label.
The paperweight is a more unusual egg-shaped one, with a flattened base.
Inside is a beautifully created periwinkle blue flower, with three spreading green leaves.
The base is a mottled dark brown colour and has a slight glitter to it when held to the light.
It was difficult to photograph the little flower contained within the weight, due to lots of reflections, so hope that my photographs do it justice.
Height: 3 1/2 inches.
In good vintage condition with no chips or damages.
