This is an attractive little set of porcelain dishes. They were made at Riga Porcelain in Latvia - and each as the green PFF Riga mark 3.S on the base - which was used by the company between 1970 and 1990.
On offer is a larger serving bowl - of a sloping teardrop shape. It measures 6 3/4 x 4 3/4 inches and with a height of 2 inches (at the highest point). It comes with four matched smaller bowls - which would be good for serving little nibbles in at a cocktail party. The little dishes echo the shape of the larger one - they measure 4 1/2 x 3 3/4 inches. At the highest point each dish is 1 1/2 inches.
The design printed on each bowl is very modernistic. There are pale grey abstract shapes black, orange and gold spots and long thin black lines. All the pieces are in good condition with no damages.
These stylish piece of Riga Porcelain with the abstract pattern on them are now hard to find. This is reflected in my asking price.
