This is a very strange 1960s or early 1970s table lamp.
It is a large size with horizontal ribbed sides - which reminds me a little of the ribbing that you might find on Carltonware Wellington pieces about this time.
You probably won't find another lamp like this again very easily.
The exterior of the lamp is glazed with a dark chocolate brown glaze.
However, the interesting thing about this one is what it is made from - I think that this lamp has been made from polished cast concrete of similar material - so very industrial chic.
It is a beast - so you would have to place it on a very sturdy table or surface.
It weighs a stonking 7.7 kg in weight unpacked.
The dimensions are as follows: the height (not including bulb holder) is 14 1/2 inches. The diameter is 10 inches.
There are two meters of cable and this is wired to the bulb holder - as photographed.
It just needs a large drum shade in a beige or mustard shade to complete the ensemble.
I have never seen a concrete cast table lamp before - and I certainly have no idea who made it. It is certainly a stunning piece.
Due to the excessive weight - it is going to be a little more expensive to post to you - and sadly, that would restrict it to UK posting only
It is in good vintage condition with no nasty chips or cracks - there are some wee light bits of scratches to the brown glaze very minor in nature and commensurate with age - and in the handling of such a heavy piece.
It is priced to take into account how unusual this is ...
