This is a very collectable vintage dinner plate - you can also put a plate hanger onto the back and hang it as decorative wall plate on your kitchen wall.
The plate was made by Washington Pottery in Staffordshire - and they also made similar stylised designs featuring highly coloured cows (no doubt copying earlier designs by the celebrated tile designer Ann Wynne Reeves).
The fish plates (Aquarius Designs) are generally much harder to find, especially the oval-shaped ones. Good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Nice and clean images.
This one measures 10 3/4 inches x 7 1/2 inches.
