This another really fine Scottish glass paperweight. As you can see it is beautifully made and was created by Strathearn Glass.
This Strathearn weight dates to the 1970s and has a polished tangerine orange base.
The canes are beautifully placed with eight fine and delicate spiral latticino twists, which radiate as spokes from the central rosette.
The central millefiori cane is a lovely bright orange colour with a surrounding rosette of light white canes. The next circle is periwinkle blue and white. The outer edge of the paperweight has a border of canes of orange-red and red-pink tones. It has very unusual colouring for a Strathearn weight - I love it!
A very attractive vintage Scottish glass paperweight.
It measures 2 1/4 inches in height with a diameter of just under 3 inches.
The paperweight is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or polishing. Any white marks on the images are not on the weight - but are just reflections from the glass.
