Pieces of Portmeirion Gold Lion ceramics are now quite hard to find.

The Gold Lion design was made in 1962 after designs by Susan Williams-Ellis. It was produced right up into the 1970s - but it was not such a popular design and fewer items were made with this pattern on them.

Of offer here is my last Cups and Saucer - but I did have five available. but four are now already sold.

The cups are 8 cm in height. The diameter at the top is about 6 cm. The Saucer diameter is 13.5 cm.

These would have been made early in the run - as they have gold gilding around the rim area - later issues didn't have this addition.

They are both in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or damages.

Handy to be able to buy as single items to replace damaged ones in a set.

Marked to the base with an oval blue backstamp, as photographed.
