This is a very rare item - and it is certainly very difficult to find other examples.
This is a vintage transistor radio that takes the form of a can of Bass Shandy. It radio is quite realistic in copying the design of an actual can of this period.
I have two of these on offer in my shop.
THIS LISTING IS FOR ONE RADIO.
This radio states on the bottom that it was made in Hong Kong - which would date it to the last 1960s / early 1970s. It is in pristine condition with no damages. It has never been used and the battery has never been left inside - so no signs of any corrosion etc. All the wires and transistors are without issues.
I have acquired a battery to check if this radio works: it does. So sold in full working condition.
The volume and station changing rings are on each side of the radio, as photographed. The speaker is the silver grill on the top.
UK Postage will be £4.95 with Royal Mail Recorded delivery. This will be applied at the checkout stage on your order.
Each radio measures: 4 inches in height and just 2 2/4 diameter.
