This is a lovely vintage Scottish Silver tear-drop shaped pendant.
The pendant features a very attractive blue banded agate - and this colour and pattern reminds me a little of litttle white waves on a blue Scottish sea with distant grey rain clouds just starting to appear on the horizon.
It is set in a rather deep silver mount (as photographed).
It is also hallmarked to the inside section of the silver setting - with an Edinburgh hallmark (the letter S with a strike through it) for the year 1973.
It also is stamped with the maker's initials: GF, but I have as yet been unable to identify the maker - but from the style is looks very, very like similar items (see my shop jewellery section) made by Malcolm Grey for Ortak.
My pendant is in lovely vintage condition. It is 4 cm in length.
The chain is 21 inches in length.
My lovely pendant would be sent to you in a simple black cardboard gift box - all nice and clean and would make a fine present - or even as a new piece for yourself!
Postage quote is Royal Mail recorded - and the pendant will be send to you in a sturdyouter packing box to keep nice and safe in transit.
