This is a genuine 1950s trinket box made of thick clear perspex. It might be earlier in date as it came to me with my other 1930s ones.
It is a large box and would be great for storing sewing threads or little artist materials in etc. It is a well made box with a sturdy construction.
It is oblong in shape and measures 8 inches in length; the depth is 4 inches and the height is 3 1/4 inches.
The lid has a square shaped lozenge on it - and you hold this to slide the lid along to box the box. There is a raised edge all around where the lid slides in. There is a wee clear divider section on the inside.
It is in good vintage condition given that it is 60 years old or older. It has been a bit tricky to photograph - so hope that my photographs do it justice.
It is a very attractive box and it is listed at a fair price.
UK Postage will be with Royal Mail Recorded Post. This will be £5.50 and applied to your order at the checkout.
