This is a nice vintage Abacus - it was made by the British toy company, Chad Valley.
It has the old Chad Vallery logo on the top section at one side.
The other side has blue sections with white numbers and alphabet letters.
All the balls on the Abacus section are wood and hand-coloured.
The abacus can be pinned to the wall - of it can be free-standing - as it has swivel stand sections, as photographed at the base.
A great display piece for a child's bedroom to hang on the wall - or for a mid-century interior. Great decoration for an accountant's office!
It is a nice larger size. Height is 15 inches - Width at the widest point.
Fine old vintage example now about 70 years old - in fine condition.
