These are a fine set of vintage Mon Amie side plates. This list is for a SINGLE SET made up of the six side plates, as photographed.
The pattern was designed by the Swedish ceramic artist, Marianne Westman (1928 - 2017). It has the Rorstrand mark to the base as photographed.
The design was first produced in 1952 and was continued to be a very popular piece of Scandinavian mid-century design.
These highly sought after pieces are covered all over with lots of Royal Blue stylised flowers.
The Mon Amie mark was used on wears produced from 1952 and right up until the 1980s. So NOT one of the later re-issues made in 2008.
The plates have a diameter of 6 3/4 inches - and have an all-over blue floral pattern. Five of the plates are perfect - one has a tiny fleabite to the edge (so priced this at £5. It looks good on display and can of course be used).
I am pricing each plate at a fair £15 x 5 plus E5 for the flawed one. So the grand total will be £80.
