This is a vintage 100% Pure Wool Blanket and dates to the late 1960s / 1970s.
I have two of these (plus another one of a slightly different colour and pattern) in my store. They are matching in size and colour.
It has a lovely colourway with current "on-trend" colours of mustard, grey, white and black - and will look fabulous in a mid-century inspired interior. The colours on these ones also have a nice bright yellow and the reverse is a lot lighter than on my other one.
The blanket is nice and heavy and perfect for snuggling under on cold winter - or even cold summer - evenings. The would look great draped over a Scandi-style sofa or on your bed.
The blanket is woven as a double cloth - and this results in a fully reversible blanket. I have taken images of both sides of the blanket so that you can see what each side looks like.
I think that the pattern on this one is a traditonal one features the historic Caernarfon Portcullis Design.
I have taken it outside into my garden to hang it up so that you can see the pattern and details clearly. It is a nice large standard size - measuring 230 x 150 cm (not including the fringes at two ends - these measure 9 cm).
The blanket was bought be me about 20 years ago at a specialist interiors auction in Edinburgh. I had them packed away and never used it. I have three in total (all listed). All nice and clean with no damages.
