This is a hard to find set of Japanese mid-century design cutlery.
There are six beautifully made long forks on offer and are in their original vintage retail box for the Hankyu Department Store in Japan. They are in excellent condition and look like they have never been out of the box or used.
The length of each spoon is 10 1/4 inches. The back is marked: Stainless Steel. The length makes them great utensils for sharing platters or fondue type foods.
The are very well made and certainly look very Scandi-modern and stylish.
Love the fact that all the boxes have survived - perhaps a 1960s or 1970s wedding present - put away in the back of a cupboard and forgotten about.
