This is a sweet little vintage 1960s / 1970s comical glass Murano dog sculpture. The model is in perfect condition with no damage.
The glass model is a novelty one - focusing on the dog's head which is placed for display on a round fluted stand on the base.
His head is made of a translucent blue glass and it looks like a large shaped hand-blown bubble. It then has large applied opaque white and red glass eyes. Mr Doggie also has long ears to the side, a red nose and red sticking out tongue. He is very cute - and a great addition to a collection of vintage Murano dogs.
It is in good vintage condition and displays well. There is a tiny flaw in the making to the top of his left ear. This is not disfiguring and cannot be seen when the model is on display. This is taken into account with my pricing.
Dimensions: Mr Doggie is 6 inches in height - and from ear to ear is roughly 3 3.4 inches. This depth is about 4 inches.
