This is a lovely vintage faience bowl which was designed in the 1960s by Nils Thorsson.
It is a great piece for display in a Scandinavian inspired mid century interior.
A very attractive piece of vintage Danish Royal Copenhagen pottery.
It is 6 3/4 inches square (17.2 cm). The edge of the bowl is 1 1/4 in height.
It is a lovely design by one of Royal Copenhagen's most celebrated designers, Nils Thorsson.
This dish has a rich blue mottled base colour with it decorated with black lines forming an almost Runic symbolist pattern.
Fully marked to the base: with pattern number 704/2883.
A very fine dish - and with fair asking price. Please see my other blue Thorsson rooster pattern dish that I am also listing - I would try to send the two for the same price as one in the UK.
HAPPY TO POST INTERNATIONALLY, PLEASE ASK FOR A POSTAGE QUOTE OUTSIDE OF THE UK.
