This is a fine hand-blown decorative glass bowl.
It is of an oval shape and is shallow in form - with an off-centre aperture on the top.
It is very space age in design - and it is probably Danish in origin,
The bowl looks like similar pieces that I have seen which were made by Per Lutken for Holmegaard Glass - and although it is more common to find these pieces of Art Glass in a pale blue colour - you also find Holmegaard making these in this darker green colour.
It is not signed to the base, but there is a polished pontil mark in the form of a ring, as photographed. It might have originally had a paper label - but this has vanished over time.
This wee modernist asymmetric bowl measures: 5 x 4 ½ inches. Height is about 1 ¾ inch.
It is in good vintage condition.
A nice piece of mid-century glass - and looks fabulous on a Scandi-modern coffee table.
