This is a fine vintage silver brooch - made by Shetland Silver, Scotland in the 1970s. It has an Edinburgh hallmark - this mark on the reverse is very small and I cannot quite make out the date letter.

The design is an attractive Celtic inspired one with interlinking knotwork scrolls and with an inset pale green opalescent agate in the centre. It is in lovely shiny condition with no damages.
