This is a fabulous 1970s octagonal ice bucket - it has a tangerine lid with a large raised circular metallic knop. The ice pail also has a brushed chrome angled swing handle on the sides - which have be moved flat to aid storage.
It was made by BOC (as annotated on the base) for the Sparklets (best known for their production of soda syphons).
It is a nice large size measuring just under 15.7 cm on each side and with a height of 15.4 cm.
The ice bucket is in good condition. Nice and clean inside. The word "Sparklets" (slightly rubbed) is printed on the underside of the lid - there is also a little fitted compartment in the lid base where the original plastic ice tongs fit.
The ice bucket was originally a white colour - but over the last 50 years the plastic has yellowed slightly in tone - it looks just fine and is not so much of an issue. But you can see this in my photographs.
The ice bucket comes from my own personal collection and I have owned it (unused) since the 1980s. So it is in good vintage condition.
A great space age accessory for your cocktail bar or for Christmas parties for keeping lots of ice in for your party guests.
It will have to be sent to you as a medium parcel due to its size. This will be with Royal Mail Tracked post and applied to your order at the checkout.
