This is a bit of a scary brooch if you have issues with spiders.
It is finely made and it is a vintage brooch, probably dating to the 1940s or 50s.
The pin has a ring-shaped safety catch on the back.
Nice big size with long spidery legs for running quickly about - lots of little marcasite chips all over.
Nice detailing - you can even see his wee eyes.
Would look great on a jacket lapel, black winter beret - or on a little black dress
