This is a stunning vintage Art Deco glass globe hanging light shade.
It takes the form of a large glass ball or globe.
It is made of white opaque glass with swirls of chocolate brown - so that it looks like the shade is made of marble. The surface of the glass has a satin finish.
As you can see from the photos of Robert holding the shade - it is a nice large size - and would be a bit of a showstopper in a hallway - or room with a higher ceiling.
The shade has a lovely brass top - which fits onto the globe with little screws - there is a hook on the top for hanging the shade from a chain. The shade comes with a good quality heavy-duty chain, as photographed. It also comes with a hanging hook for your ceiling rose.
Dimensions: The diameter of the shade is 9 1/2 inches. The shade height including the brass holder is 14 inches. The chain and rose fitting measures 23 inches.
