This is a lovely little set of Art Deco solid silver coffee spoons.
Each wee spoon is hallmarked on the back of the bowl.
The hallmark is for Sheffield 1933.
The maker's mark is for Reid & Son; an old family firm hailing from Newcastle.
The handle of each spoon is very fine and decorated with little parallel ridges.
The set comes in its original cream silk lined box or fitted case - which is in good vintage condition. The case is in good vintage condition and great for storing the wee spoons in when they are not in use.
There are six little spoons in the set - and they are all in excellent condition with no damages. Nice and shiny, and ready to use.
Each spoon is 4 inches in length.
Great wee spoons for espresso coffee or perhaps little sorbets or rich mousse puddings.
