These vintage tall table lamps by Mark Valcera (of Switzerland) are highly collectable.
It dates to the early 1960s. The motif of the turquoise wild horse hand-painted onto a cream ground was one of Valcera's most popular images.
The base is signed Valcera, Suisse / 62 (the date of creation). This has been photographed for your inspection but concealed by a felt base on the lamp so that it does not scratch your furniture.

It is a nice large size measuring some 14 1/4 inches in height (not including the bulb holder. The diameter at the base is 5 1/4 inches.
The artist would use this horse image on a number of his ceramic pieces; jugs, plates etc. I think that they are most successful on these tall lamps.
My lamp has been re-wired and it is now safe for you. It is all ready to plug in. It also has a new brass bulb holder and it is now fully earthed.
The lamp base comes without a shade. You can select one to go with your own decor. It is in excellent vintage condition with no damage.
