These are a nice pair of collectable vintage, probably early to mid-20th century, Chinese export chicken rooster figurines.
On offer here is this lovely old pair. Both are a lovely rich turquoise colour and they have rich aubergine-coloured combs. They stand on a purple base. They are made from a porcelain material. Both have really lovely detailing and modelling and the texture of the feathers on each bird is beautifully delineated.
They form a matching pair each about 6 inches (15 cm) in height.
They are in excellent condition with no damage. Each has a little stamp on the base, one as photographed, and the other with an impressed no. 26.
As you can see these are certainly a fine and good quality pair. They are listed at a fair price for the pair as shown. These have a bit of age to them and came to me with a couple of Victorian ceramic figurines.
