This is a lovely mid century Danish chopping board or little cheese board for a small round of soft cheese.
It is was designed by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk design and has his logo etc on the blade inside.
It is a nice example and has hardly any knife marks or such on the wooden surface. The wood is not all dried out or stained but has a lovely rich dark and uniform brown colour.
The little chopping blade is stored inside the circular board section. It is not a very sharp one but you could use for softer items such as cheese, or perhaps lemons or limes for cocktails etc.
The circular board is about 5 inches in diameter and about an inch deep.
The little chopping knife including its attractive shaped teak handle is about 7 1/2 inches in length.
