This is a very stylish pair of vintage 1950s Scandinavian Sterling Silver Earrings. They are clip-on ones to attach to your ear lobes rather then having a post and back for pierced ears.
The earrings take the form of leaves - and both are marked on the back "AM Sterling Denmark". They are pieces of classic Scandinavian jewellery design and were designed by Eigil Jensen (1917 - 2002) for the company.
Eigil Jensen was born in the Danish town of Aalborg in 1917. He originally was drawn to graphic design but later moved into silversmithing and jewellery design. He worked at Anton Michelsen in Copenhagen for forty years until he retired in 1985. He was appointed as Head of Production. Eigil Jensen excelled at creating jewellery with these simple organic forms and shapes.
They are in very good condition. They are nice and clean and I will give the leaves a wee polish before posting to you. They will be sent to you in a simple gift box to keep them safe.
Postage will be applied to your order at the checkout.
