This is a fine piece of vintage Danish stoneware pottery.
It is a lovely square shallow bowl - with incised geometric shapes in the centre and fabulous blue glazes - a little like a butterfly wing pattern to the outer section.
I have taken lots of images for you.
It was designed at Bornholm in Denmark by Michael Andersen and Sons. It has an incised mark on the bottom for Michael Andersen (three herrings in a shield), impressed Denmark and number 5 / 166, as photographed.
The bowl is just over 6 1/4 inches wide and the height is about 1 1/2 inches.
In good vintage condition. There is one tiny surface scratch to the shiny glaze - this can only be seen when the dish is turned to a bright raking light - but is just fine on display.
