This is a little twin-handled sugar bowl - but could also be used as a little bowl for storing little trinkets.
It is made in Denmark by Herman Kahler and the hand-painted pattern with its blue background and pretty white daisy flowers is called Marguerite.
It is marked with all the production details on the base, as photographed. I
The painted floral decoration is by Nils Kähler (1906-1979) and was developed already in the beginning of the 1920s. The shape was designed by his brother Herman Kähler (1904-1996).
The diameter is 4 1/2 inches and from handle to handle it is 6 1/2 inches.
It is in excellent vintage condition with no damage. It is listed at a fair price for an older piece of Danish ceramics.
