This is a quirky antique wooden nutcracker dating to the late 19th century. It is made of carved wood and features the head of the Germany's Iron Chancellor, Otto von Bismarck. It was probably made as a commemorative item when he died in 1898.
You pop a little nut in his mouth and and squeeze the handle to crack it. It is in good working condition.
In really nice, clean antique condition, with no damages. The ears are quite delicately carved and are without any losses. The carving on this nutcracker is just quite lovely - and there is no doubt that this is a portrait of Bismarck. I have taken lots of images for your inspection.
