This is a lovely vintage paperweight by Isle of Wight Glass.
It takes the form of an apple - the main colour of the glass is clear - which an outer coating of amber-gold coloured glass and lots of multi-coloured speckles - mainly of whites, claret reds and emerald greens. It has a cute little clear stalk at the top.
It has a paper label on the base. It is in damage-free condition.
Dimensions: 2 1/2 inches in height - not including the stalk. The diameter is 2 3/4 inches.
These little Isle of Wight apples are keenly sought - and my one is listed at a fair price for this fine piece of British Art Glass. A nice addition to your paperweight collection.
