This is a lovely piece of vintage Italian glass - probably made at Murano, Venice.
It is a decorative beaker or tumbler, made up of fused millefiori canes. It has been handmade and probably dates to the second half of the 20th century.
It measures 4 1/4 inches in height. It has a diameter of 3 inches at the rim. The base has a diameter of just over 2 1/4 inches.
It has a myriad of tutti-frutti colours and as you can see is beautifully made. The finish to the beaker has a bit of a gloss to it - it is not a matt satin finish. It is in excellent vintage condition and has no chips or cracks.
I have taken a lot of images so that you can fully judge it in the round. It is a decorative item - and not only can you drink from it - but it would also look fantastic as a miniature vase that you could pop a little posy for delicate flowers into for display.
