This is a lovely vintage Mexican sterling silver 925 brooch.
It is fully marked to the back with production details. It is marked (illegibly) TAXCO.
The brooch takes the form of a little angelfish, It's stripes are depicted with the use of inset pieces of shiny blue and green abalone shells.
It is beautifully made and has a nice firm clasp on the back secured with a ring fitment. It is sold in excellent condition and is nice and clean - all ready to wear.
It is a nice larger size - measuring 4 cm wide and with an overall height of 5.5 cm.
