This is a beautifully made vintage Mexican Silver Bracelet.
It is 925 Sterling Silver and has a deep-set round polish Malachie stone as a decorative embellishment.
It is a very substantial and chunky piece with a lot of silver making it up.
It takes the form of a thick circular band - which is hinged on the center back - so that you can easily pull it apart to put on and off easily. The hinge is a very sturdy and strong one.
The two ends meet up on the top of your wrist when you are wearing it. One end has the large round lozenge of polished malachite. The other end meets up - and has a wide prong with two tongue sections that hug onto the sides of the round setting part.
Dimensions: this will fit a wrist approx just under 7 inches in circumference. The malachite stone is 2 cm in diameter. The total weight of the bracelet is 50 grams.
It is a rather sophisticated design - and is a special piece by Taxco - and much sought after.
It is in just lovely condition with no damages: it has no evidence of it ever having been worn and the silver is nice and shiny. It is clean and ready to wear. The bracelet will be sent in a simple gift box to you.
It is marked inside with maker details as photographed. I hope that my photographs do it justice. It is a fair price for a piece of Mexican Taxco vintage jewellery - with so much silver in it and also the unusual design.
