This is a beatiful pair of Norwegian silver guilloche enamelled ear-rings . They are is marked on the back with the logo for Lindrup & Egner (an anchor symbol).
The company was a celebrated Norwegian silversmithing firm that was established in 1919 by Karl Olaf Olsen Lindrup and Rudolf Egner. In 1924 Lindrup opened a workshop in his own name. The was active until 1942 when it was transferred to the wholesaler Hans Myhre.
These ear-rings are more unusual as the are not made from a single leaf but double ones. The ear-rings are both is in remarkable vintage condition - there is no chipping or damage to the sunshine yellow enamel. The back is also gilded and nice and clean. I love that you can see all the tiny striations on each petal - certainly an indicator of quality.
The ear-rings are clip-on ones - as you often find on Holmsen ones.
I also have a large flower daisy brooch by the Norwegian silversmith Askel Holmsen listed. These are also nice pieces - and would go well with the brooch as a wee set.
The ear-rings will be sent to you in a simple card gift box - and sent with Royal Mail Tracked Post.
