This is a pair of vintage limited edition Edinburgh Crystal Tumblers.
These are a limited edition set made in the year 2000 to celebrate the Millennium. The design is called Confluence and it was created by Daniel Whittard. Each glass has an etched Edinburgh Crystal mark on the base - which you can read through the glass. The design featured an abstract design of deeply engraved hoops wet at a variety of angles - to form an attractive modern pattern.
As you can see all in excellent condition - and perfect whisky tumblers - just add a drop of your favourite dram and a couple of cubes of ice and you are away!
I have taken lots of images for your inspection.
These are a modernist design - rather like Jasper Conran ones made for Stuart Crystal. These glasses are a little harder to find now - as it appears that they were not made for sale on the open market - but as a special gift as presentation items for associates of the company on this special anniversary.
These are sold in excellent condition in their original purple silk-lined box and with their certificate of issue number - all as photographed. They are unused with all paper labels on the glasses still present.
They measure 3 1/4 inches in height and with a diameter of 3 inches at the rim - and gently tapering down to 2 3/4 inches at the foot. Each weighs 320 grams.
Please also see my large Millennium Edinburgh Crystal wine glasses also listed on my store.
They will be carefully packed and sent to you with Royal Mail Recorded Delivery post - this will cost £4.95 and applied at the checkout in the UK.
