This is another one of my vintage Scottish Caithness Glass paperweights.
It dates to 1998 and is entitled Aquamarina. It comes from a limited edition of 2092 (closed) - a larger issue made for the Caithness Collector's Society. This one is numbered 1251.
It is signed with the issue details below. It was made by Philip Chaplain.
It is a lovely weight - and looks at ocean life. The base is apporieately an aquamarine colour. There is a large abstract design in the centre - which I think resembles a peppermint and emerald sea urchin. A large air bubble floats in the centre, and above the spiky urchin shape there is a floating halo of little controlled air bubbles.
The height is 2 3/4 inches - and the diameter is 3 inches. Unpacked it is 625 grams.
UK posting only. This will cost £5.50 with Royal Mail Tracked - and this will be applied at checkout.
