This is a lovely vintage 1970s Scottish paperweight. It is made by Perthshire Paperweights.
The ground is a clear and it creates an illusion that all the canes inside are floating on air.
The weight has a total of nine spokes with latticino twists in peppermint green and white. The central rosette has been made of muted mainly white canes. There are tiny canes of pale blue and green colours in each section between the spokes. There is a large polished pontil mark (like a halo) on the base.
It is about a large weight which measures 1 3/4 inches in height and with a diameter at the widest point of 3 inches.
It is in fine vintage condition for display - no chips or surface scratches. The canes are very small and intricate and the polished viewing facet on the top is not so common. This is reflected in my asking price.
