This is a lovely vintage Scottish paperweight. It is made by Perthshire Paperweights - and has a thistle cane right in the center of the weight.
It about 1 3/4 inches in height and with a diameter at the widest point of about 2 1/2 inches.
The ground is an unusual and attractive pea green colour.
It has a total of eleven full length spokes, in bright red, white and blue twists. There is a central thistle cane - surrounded by a selection of rainbow coloured tiny millefiori canes. There are canes in each section between the spokes - these are blue, peppermint and lilac - very quirky colours used on this pretty weight.
As you can see a most intricate and exquisite weight - and all the canes and latticino twists are very fine.
It is in fine vintage condition for display - no major chips or cracks.
