This listing is this attractive PAIR of large conical glasses for champagne or sparkling wing. They are the attractive Tyrone pattern. I have three separate pairs available on my website. Each glass has an etched mark of the foot - with Waterford written in Gothic script - this dates from to being issued before 200.
The Tyrone pattern was made from 1968 until 2017 and is now discontinued. I just love the slender conical shape of these glasses and the all over deeply engraved criss-cross pattern over the bowl. The bowl is a nice large size and would hold a nice amount of champagne or sparkling wines. The stem is faceted all around - and the foot has an engraved star on it - I always love crystal glasses with a "star-foot". As mentioned - it has an engraved mark on the base dating it to before 2000. The mark is very lightly etched onto the base - and you can just catch it if you turn it to a raking light.
The glasses have a good bit of weight to them - and they are nice substantial piece of crystal. A very stylish glass for stylish people.
Each glass is 7 1/8 inches in height. The diameter across the rim is 3 inches. The foot is 2 3/4 inches.
I am listing them at a very fair price of £30 per glass which is a fair price. All the glasses are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, staines or blooming to the interior. You will be pleased with them.
I have taken pictures of the pair- as well as three pairs in a group.
