This is a more unusual piece of vintage 1960s West German Pottery.
It is made by Scheurich and has an impressed shape or model number on the base: 342-28.
This one has a very attractive Roth Keramik Fat Lava Glaze to the outside - in smooth shiny red with crispy black lava around.
I have two of these in my Iconic Edinburgh online shop - but this listing is for ONE only. If you want the two - I can cap UK postage at £10 with Parcelforce48.
It is very unusual to find this bright Fat Lava Glaze on this particular shape.
It is a very large bowl - with a diameter of 11 inches. It is 2 1/4 inches in height.
A great dish for display on a low coffee table - or to serve crisps or other such party savouries in at a period cocktail party.
Both bowls are in perfect condition - and no chips, cracks or scratches.
The bowls can be stacked for storage.
I know that these are in very good condition - as they are from my own personal collection and owned them from the 1980s - they have been packed away for a good few years to keep safe.
A very substantial piece of pottery and weights 1.6 kg in weight, unpacked. I will have to send to you with Parcelforce48 - which will be about £10. However, I can send both for the same price - or with another item - as a postal discount.
Sadly, due to the weight - I cannot post outside of the UK.
