I love this wee fellow.
This is a really cute vintage hand carved nutcracker - probably German / Black Forest in origin. I think that he must date to the mid 20th century - about the 1950s.
He takes the form of a little elf or gnome with a big red pointed hat. You pop a little nut in his mouth and and squeeze the handle to crack it.
In really nice, clean condition, with no damages. It is 8 inches in total length.
